INTENT TO RETURN The tuition & fee schedule for next year and Intent to Return form were sent home last week. Please complete and return the form and Enrollment Fee as soon as possible. REMINDER: The fee increases after May 1st.

CAMP LUTHER Information about summer camps at Camp Luther was sent home last week with Grades K-5 students. Registration information can also be found at www.campluther.org. If you are interested in enrolling, it is good to do so early as some camps fill up quickly.

MIDQUARTERS Friday, April 15th brought us to the midway point in our grading for the 4th quarter. Midquarter reports are coming home with students in K-5 today.

KINDERGARTEN FIELD TRIP The Kindergarten class will be traveling to the Lincoln Children’s Museum and Prairieland Dairy on Thursday, April 21st.

PLANTING DAY Saturday, May 7th is our next Outdoor Classroom Workday, beginning at 9 am. Thank you to the following school community for their help on the 16th: Wallman family, Scheer family, Loomis family, Dennis Dodge, and Jeff Moore. We also thank Bob Frerking and Duane Delozier from church for their hard work.

PTL MEETING The last PTL meeting of the school year will be tonight, Tuesday, April 19th at 7:00 PM at the school. The agenda will include election of officers and other final business of the year.

ROTARY FIELD DAY The Rotary Field Day for Grades 3-5 will be held Thursday, April 28th. Grade 3 will be in the morning from 9:15-11:15. Grades 4 and 5 will start at 12:00 Noon.

ST. PAUL’S FIELD DAY The St. Paul’s Field Day will be held on Friday, May 6th for Grades K-5. We will begin at 10:00 AM. We will take a break for lunch at approximately 12:00 Noon. No hot lunches will be ordered that day so all students in Grades K-5 will have to bring a sack lunch or purchase lunch from the PTL concession stand. We hope to end the Field Day by 2:30 PM. We will need more parents to help this year. Any parents willing to help run events, please contact the school office.

TRACK MEET CONCESSIONS The Track Meet Concession Committee sent home a form today. Please sign up to help wherever and whenever you can and return the form to school by April 22nd. The form also contains information about punch cards for students who wish to eat at the concession stand that day. Thank you to Justin’s Neighborhood Meats for donating all of the hamburger for the concession stand! We no longer need hamburger donations.

SPRING MUSICAL The Grades 1-5 Spring Musical entitled L.O.S.T. But Now I’m Found will be presented on Friday, April 22nd at 7:00 PM. Students are enjoying their practices as they prepare for the performance! We hope all of you will be able to join us for the Musical. The Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten Program will be presented on Friday, April 29th at 7:00 PM. They are working hard to prepare an enjoyable evening for you. Students in Grades 1-4 should wear their St. Paul’s t-shirts for our Musical performance on Friday. The 5th Grade may either wear their costume to school or come early enough so that they can change here at school. All students are asked to come to their regular classroom no later than 6:45 for the performance. Afterward, students will go back to their classrooms and may be picked up there.

COOKIES FOR MUSICALS Families who did not bring cookies for Grandparents Day in March are asked to bring one dozen cookies for refreshments after the Spring Musical. Please send the cookies with your child the morning of April 22nd or when you pick your children up that afternoon. Please do not wait to bring cookies until you come that evening as it doesn’t give us enough time to get them arranged for serving before the program starts. Some of those cookies will be frozen and then will be served for the Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten program on April 29th.

2016-2017 APPLICATIONS We are in the process of accepting applications for new students in Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten through Grade 5 for the next school year (2016-2017). If you know of anyone interested in enrolling in St. Paul’s School, please give their name to the school office or ask them to contact the school.
