PRAYER FAMILIES

CHAPEL OFFERINGS FOR AUGUST & SEPTEMBER- BATON ROUGE LUTHERAN SCHOOL
Our Chapel Offerings for August and September are going to assist Baton Rouge Lutheran School with flood relief efforts. Our current total is: $120.06.
PARENT TEACHER LEAGUE
St. Paul School has a parent organization, PTL, which gives all parents an opportunity to participate in your child’s school and education. The first PTL meeting will be held tomorrow, September 13th at 7:00 PM. All parents, Pre-School through 5th Grade are invited and encouraged to attend.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS
The All School Field Trip will be held next Monday, September 19th. We will travel as a school to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch. Please plan to meet at the school at 8:00 AM for a driver/chaperone meeting. Mrs. Duever will have your entry stickers and pumpkin bags to hand out. A vehicle list and other information will come home on Thursday.
PICTURE DAY- SEPTEMBER 20TH
Student pictures will be taken on Tuesday, September 20th beginning at 8:00 AM at the school. Parent notices with envelopes for payment were sent home last week. If you need more envelopes for younger family members, please stop by the office. Checks should be made payable to LIFETOUCH, placed in the special envelope, and brought to school on or before September 20th. DO NOT make checks out to the school. Lifetouch requests that you please do not combine orders or payment for several children in one envelope. All K-5 students will be photographed but a package of pictures will be prepared only for those who bring a completed envelope with payment. Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten students and younger children may have their pictures taken this day, but will have to make arrangements to be at school between 8:00- 8:30 AM as the photographer is here only in the morning. These pictures will be taken on a first come/first served basis. The photographer will pack up and leave as soon as grades K-5 pictures have been taken.
PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
Fall Parent Teacher Conferences will be held next week, Tuesday, September 20th and Thursday, September 22nd from 4-8 PM for students in grades Pre-K through 5th. A note with your assigned time will be coming home this week. The teachers are looking forward to visiting with you about your child’s progress, and sharing MAPS results and mid-quarter grades with you. The conferences are scheduled back to back, so please try to be on time for your conference.
2ND GRADE FIELD TRIP
2nd grade will make their first visit to Mosaic on September 23rd. The 2nd grade class partners with Mosaic for service learning, visiting, working, and playing with the residents each month.
5TH GRADE FIELD TRIP
The 5th grade will travel to the Plum Creek Literacy Festival at Concordia University in Seward on Friday, September 23rd.
NO SCHOOL
There will be No School for students in grades Pre-K through 5th on Friday, September 30th.
PIANO DONATION
An alumni from St. Paul’s would like to give his upright piano away to a student studying piano. It is in good condition, just needs tuning. Contact Mrs. Duever if you are interested.
SCRIP ORDERS
If you would like to order gift cards, please send in your Scrip order by Monday, September 26th.
SUNMART RECEIPTS
SunMart cash register receipts update: Our total is $5,287.23. Thanks to everyone who helps us collect these receipts, every receipt helps.
