PRAYER FAMILIES
In our prayers this week, we remember the following school families: Anthony & Jenny Brockman, Alex & Beth Buhr, Lori & Michael Bunch, and David & Shannon Burgess.

CHAPEL OFFERINGS FOR AUGUST & SEPTEMBER- BATON ROUGE LUTHERAN SCHOOL
Our Chapel Offerings for August and September are going to assist Baton Rouge Lutheran School with flood relief efforts. Our current total is: $175.38.

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
Fall Parent Teacher Conferences will be held this week, Tuesday, September 20th and Thursday, September 22nd from 4-8 PM for students in grades Pre-K through 5th. A note with your assigned time came home last week. The teachers are looking forward to visiting with you about your child’s progress, and sharing MAPS results and mid-quarter grades with you. The conferences are scheduled back to back, so please try to be on time for your conference.

TURKEY SUPPER
A ticket committee member will be in the media center on Thursday, September 22nd before school, 8:00-8:30 AM, and after school, 3:00-3:30 PM to turn in ticket stubs and money and to request additional tickets. The last turn in day will be Monday, September 26th at the same times. Please contact Toree Lang (402) 239-4040 if you have questions regarding Turkey Supper tickets.

Have you signed up for the pies and salads you plan to bring? Have you signed up to help serve somewhere? There are places and committees that need help! Please sign up and return the forms to school right away so the committees won’t have to call you.

TURKEY SUPPER BUYING COMMITTEE
Did you know that we spend about $4,500 on groceries and supplies each year for the Turkey Supper? Again this year instead of asking each family to donate grocery items to be used in preparing the meal, the Buying Committee is asking each family to donate cash toward our grocery list so we can purchase the items wholesale. This will stretch our purchasing power as well as save you a trip to the store.

Please bring or send your cash or checks to school by September 26th so needed items may be purchased. Please mark your envelopes “Buying Committee” so we keep these funds separate from ticket money. 2ND GRADE FIELD TRIP
2nd grade will make their first visit to Mosaic on September 23rd. The 2nd grade class partners with Mosaic for service learning, visiting, working, and playing with the residents each month.

5TH GRADE FIELD TRIP
The 5th grade will travel to the Plum Creek Literacy Festival at Concordia University in Seward on Friday, September 23rd.

NO SCHOOL
There will be No School for students in grades Pre-K through 5th on Friday, September 30th.

PIANO DONATION
An alumni from St. Paul’s would like to give his upright piano away to a student studying piano. It is in good condition, just needs tuning. Contact Mrs. Duever if you are interested.

SCRIP ORDERS
If you would like to order gift cards, please send in your Scrip order by Monday, September 26th.

SUNMART RECEIPTS
SunMart cash register receipts update: Our total is $10,311.03. Thanks to everyone who helps us collect these receipts, every receipt helps.
