PRAYER FAMILIES

CHAPEL OFFERINGS FOR OCTOBER- VETERANS
In October, we will be collecting game books (Crossword, Sudoku, etc.) and money for the Veterans Service Office here in Beatrice. We will present these to Phil Dittbrenner at Chapel on November 9th. We have collected $76.14 and 29 book, so far this month.
REPORT CARDS
1st Quarter Report Cards are coming home today.
PTL MEETING
PTL will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, October 25th at 7:00 PM. Please plan to attend! We will be discussing the Turkey Supper profits and purchasing IPads for the school.
FIRE DEPARTMENT VISIT
The Beatrice Fire Department will be bringing a fire truck to visit the prekindergarten on October 26th and the preschool on October 27th.
SOYBEAN PRESENTATION
The 4th Grade Class will enjoy a presentation about soybeans from the Nebraska Soybean Board on Wednesday, October 26th at 9:20 AM.
TRUNK OR TREAT
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will be hosting a trunk or treat event on Thursday, October 27th in the church parking lot from 6:00-7:30 PM. If you would like to donate a bag of candy or small prizes, there is a donation box by the front door at the school. If you are willing to decorate your trunk and bring your car to the church parking lot, please let Mrs. Long know by emailing jogellermannlong@gmail.com. Please mark your calendar and bring your kids for some fun trunk or treating!
PICTURE RETAKES
School Picture retake day is set for Thursday, November 3rd at 8:30am. If you would like your child’s picture retaken please send back the packet on or before November 3rd. If your child was absent on picture day, there are picture packet forms available in the office.
CRANBERRY SAUCE FOR SALE
We have cans of cranberry sauce left over from the Turkey Supper. They expire next August, so we will not be able to use them for the Turkey Supper next year. If you would like to purchase some cans, please bring $1.50 per can to the school office.
SINGING IN CHURCH
The students in Grades K-5 will sing on Sunday, November 13th at the 8:00 AM Worship Service. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend!
4th GRADE CLASS CHAPEL
4th Grade will present their class chapel this Wednesday, October 26th beginning at 8:30 AM. Parents are welcome to worship with us at this special service as well as any Wednesday.
NOVEMBER CALENDAR
The November calendar showing events at St. Paul’s Lutheran School is being sent home today. Please save it for reference during the month of November. The lunch menu is found on the reverse side.
NO SCHOOL
There will be no school on Friday, October 28th for a teacher in-service, and Monday, October 31st for Reformation Day.
LITERACY FAIR/OPEN HOUSE
Mark your calendars! The school literacy fair and open house will be Tuesday, November 8th from 6:30-8:00 PM. Please plan to attend and view the class literacy projects. Our scholastic book fair will also be open that evening for purchases. Books make great gifts!
SUNMART RECEIPTS
SunMart cash register receipts update: Our total is $24,834.12. Thanks to everyone who helps us collect these receipts, every receipt helps.
