PRAYER FAMILIES
In our prayers this week, we remember the following school families: Justin & Dina Scheele, Brent & Debra Schlake, and Ron & Crystal Scholl.

CHAPEL OFFERINGS FOR MARCH
Our Chapel offerings during the month of March will go to pay for the St. Paul’s radio broadcast over KWBE which will be sponsored by the students in honor of National Lutheran Schools Week. We have collected $52.61 so far this month.

KINDERGARTEN INFORMATION MEETING & OPEN HOUSE
Did you miss our Open House or know someone who is curious about our Kindergarten for next year? The St. Paul’s Kindergarten Open House information is now available online at http://school.stpaulbeatrice.org/.

SEMISAURUS MUSEUM
We are excited to announce that the Semisaurus Mobile Museum, developed by the Creation Instruction Association, will be at our school the weekend of March 25th through the 27th.  It will be open to the public for free on Saturday from 2:00 – 6:30 p.m.

On Sunday morning, it will be open for St. Paul’s Church and School families from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Brian Young will be leading a Bible Study at the school from 9:15-10:15 a.m. followed bya special church service at the school at 10:30 a.m. and a Van’s Chicken BBQ meal fundraiser from 11:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.  On Sunday afternoon, it will open for the public from 1:30 – 6:30 p.m.

The school children will tour the museum on Monday morning, then the public will have one last chance from noon – 2:00 p.m. Please visit the Semisaurus website at https://www.semisaurus.com/ for more information.

SINGING IN CHURCH
The students in grades K-5 will sing at St. Paul’s Lutheran School on Sunday, March 26th at the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service. This service will be at the school in conjunction with the Semisaurus Mobile Museum and Van’s Chicken meal.

MENU CHANGE

SPRING MAP TESTING
The students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade will be taking MAP Tests March 20th-March 31st. Please be sure your children are well rested and have had a good breakfast each day so they will be able to do their best on the tests.

UPCOMING FIELD TRIPS
Thursday, March 30th: 1st Grade field trip to the Hospital, 4th Grade to the Capitol and the Nebraska History Museum.

SPELLING BEE
The annual St. Paul Spelling Bee will be held on Monday, April 10th at 7:00 p.m.  The event will include any and all St. Paul students from grades 1-5 who wish to participate.

SCRIP CARDS
Need gift cards? Order them through our St. Paul’s Lutheran School “Scrip Card” program and our school automatically gets money in return at no extra cost to you! Order forms are located in the narthex, church office, school office, and on the school’s website. Orders will be placed this week. Order forms can be turned in to the church or school office.

NEEDED FOR OUR STORE ROOM
Please save Pringles cans and foam meat trays (cleaned) for our store room at school. Thanks for your help in restocking our storage supplies for crafts and projects!

YEARBOOK COMMITTEE
The yearbook committee needs pictures! Grades K-5: We need pictures of field trips, class parties, New Year’s Eve, or any pictures of a St. Paul activity. Please e-mail pictures to kariek76@yahoo.com. Thank you!

2017-2018 APPLICATIONS
We are in the process of accepting applications for new students in Pre-School, Pre- Kindergarten, and Kindergarten through Grade 5 for the next school year (2017-2018). If you know of anyone interested in enrolling in St. Paul’s School, please give their name to the school office or ask them to contact the school.

SUNMART RECEIPTS
SunMart cash register receipts update: Our total is $81,557.33.   Thanks to everyone who helps us collect these receipts, every receipt helps.
