Our offerings for April and May will go to the Community Food Pantry. We are collecting food items and money.  We are trying to collect cereal boxes for the food pantry, but you may bring in any canned or boxed items.  Our current total is $30.20 and 5 boxes of food.

TUITION/LUNCH BILLS
April tuition is now due. March lunch bills were sent home last week. If you have any questions about your bill, please contact the office.

INTENT TO RETURN

CAMP LUTHER
Information about summer camps at Camp Luther is coming home today with Grades K-5 students. Registration information can also be found at www.campluther.org. If you are interested in enrolling, it is good to do so early as some camps fill up quickly. The St. Paul’s Dorcas Society is also offering three $100 scholarships on a first come, first serve basis. If you are interested please contact the school office.

SPELLING BEE
The annual St. Paul Spelling Bee will be held tonight, Monday, April 10th at 7:00 p.m.  The event will include any and all St. Paul students from Grades 1-5 who wish to participate.

EASTER BREAK
There will be NO SCHOOL for all children in grades Preschool through 5th on Thursday, April 13th through Monday, April 17th for Easter Break. School resumes on Tuesday, April 18th.

PARENT SURVEY
This year the annual Parent Survey is found online at Survey Monkey. The link is: https://www.surveymonkey.com//r/33FDXN6. You can also find the link on the school website, and it was emailed to each family. You may notice that there is a duplicate question for teachers, this allows you to complete that information for each of your children. If you only have one student, just skip over the extra teacher questions. Please complete the survey by Wednesday, April 12th.

PTL MEETING
Due to a conflict with St. Paul’s Church Council Meeting the St. Paul’s PTL meeting has been moved to Thursday, April 20th. Please mark your calendar accordingly and plan to attend this last PTL meeting of the year.

SPRING MUSICALS
The Grades 1-5 Spring Musical entitled Survivor Babylon will be presented on Friday, April 21st at 7:00 p.m. Students are enjoying their practices as they prepare for the performance! We hope all of you will be able to join us for the Musical. The Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten Program will be presented on Friday, April 28th at 7:00 p.m. They are working hard to prepare an enjoyable evening for you.

COOKIES FOR MUSICALS
Families who did not bring cookies for Grandparents Day in March are asked to bring one dozen cookies for refreshments after the Spring Musical. Please send the cookies with your child the morning of April 21st or when you pick your children up that afternoon. Please do not wait to bring the cookies until you come that evening as it doesn’t give us enough time to get them arranged for serving before the program starts. Some of those cookies will be frozen and then will be served for the Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten program on April 28th.

SINGING IN CHURCH
The students in Grades K-5 will sing at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Sunday, April 23rd at the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service.

VOTERS MEETING
St. Paul Lutheran Voters’ Meeting will be held Sunday, April 23rd at 1:30 p.m. at church.

ST. PAUL’S FIELD DAY
The St. Paul’s Field Day will be held on Friday, May 5th for Grades K-5. We will begin at 10:00 a.m. We will take a break for lunch approximately 12:00 noon. No hot lunches will be ordered that day so all students in Grades K-5 will have to bring a sack lunch or purchase lunch from the PTL concession stand. We hope to end the Field Day by 2:30 p.m. We will need more parents to help this year. Any parents willing to help run events, please contact the school office.
