PRAYER FAMILIES
In our prayers this week, we remember the following school families: Todd & Misty Gibson, Dale & Jonetta Hagemeier, Bobby & Tracey Harms, and Jeff & Amber Jackson.
CHAPEL OFFERINGS FOR NOVEMBER & DECEMBER- WARREN’S TABLE
In November and December, we will be collecting money Warren’s Table. This outreach project at Christ Episcopal Church in Beatrice provides a free meal to the public each Tuesday evening. After we raise funds, we plan to prepare and serve a meal with our older students, and donate any extra funds raised. In October, we raised $196.37 for Lutheran Heritage Foundation, enough for 40 bibles to be sent around the world!
REPORT CARDS
1st Quarter Report Cards will be coming today, Monday, October 30th. If you have any questions please set up a time to meet or talk to your child’s teacher.
NOVEMBER CALENDAR
The November calendar showing events at St. Paul’s Lutheran School is being sent home today. Please save it for future reference during the month of November. The lunch menu is found on the reverse side.
UPCOMING FIELD TRIP
The 3rd Grade will visit the Nature Connection on Wednesday, November 1st.
PICTURE RETAKES
School picture retake day is currently set for this Friday, November 3rd at 8:30 a.m. If your child was absent on picture day, there are picture packet forms available in the office. As we have not yet received the picture packets, the retakes may be rescheduled. We will keep you updated.
SCIENCE FAIR/OPEN HOUSE
St. Paul’s Science Fair and Open House will be held this Sunday, November 5th from 2:00-4:00 p.m., with awards being presented at 3:00 p.m. Boards are due this Friday, November 3rd. If your board will not be ready by Friday, please contact Mrs. Duever at 785-614-3393 to set up a time to bring in your board. See you Sunday!
PTL
The PTL meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 14th at 7:00 p.m. in the school media center. Please plan to attend.
CHURCH ATTENDANCE AWARDS
After chapel this Wednesday, November 1st, awards will be given for perfect and commendable church attendance during 1st Quarter.
SINGING IN CHURCH
The students in Grades K-5 will sing on Sunday, November 12th at the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend!
4TH GRADE CHAPEL
4th Grade will present their class chapel on Wednesday, November 15th beginning at 8:30 a.m. Parents are welcome to worship with us at this special service as well as any Wednesday.
SUNMART RECEIPTS
SunMart cash register receipts update: our current total is $3,832.23. You can also collect Box Tops, Best Choice UPC labels (from Heartland Foods), Tyson Project A+ labels, and Our Family labels (UPC portion). We can turn in all of these labels to receive money for our school.
