PRAYER FAMILIES
In our prayers this week, we remember the following school families: Ben & Chauntaine Kidder, Eric & Robin Klaus, and Matt & Amanda Kuhlman.

CHAPEL OFFERINGS FOR NOVEMBER & DECEMBER- WARREN’S TABLE
In November and December, we will be collecting money for Warren’s Table. This outreach project at Christ Episcopal Church in Beatrice provides a free meal to the public each Tuesday evening. After we raise funds, we plan to prepare and serve a meal with our older students, and donate any extra funds raised. Our meal is scheduled for Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018, so mark your calendars!  The current total is $133.06.

ADVENT
We encourage you to prepare for Christmas by attending the midweek Advent Services: December 13th and December 20th beginning at 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Plan now to worship on these Wednesday evenings and invite a friend or relative to join you. A supper will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. on these Wednesdays before the evening service. A free will offering will be taken for the meals.

LUNCH AND TUITION BILLS
December tuition is now due. November lunch bills were sent home last week.

UPCOMING FIELD TRIP
The 2nd Grade will make their monthly visit to Mosaic on Friday, December 15th.

CHRISTMAS CHOIRS
We are looking forward to upcoming visits from the middle school and high school choirs and bands. Limited Edition and Jazz band from the high school will visit us today, December 11th at 12:20 p.m.  First Edition will visit us on Wednesday, December 20th from 10:15-10:45 a.m.

LIBRARY CHECK-OUTS
All library check-outs will be due Monday, December 18th. Due to the long holiday Christmas holiday, all library books, DVD’s, videos, and magazines are to be returned by Monday, December 18th and there will be no new check-outs until after the Christmas vacation.  

3RD GRADE CHAPEL
The 3rd Grade class will present their Class Chapel on Wednesday, December 20th at 8:30 a.m. Parents are invited to worship with us at this special Chapel, as well as any Wednesday.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM PRACTICE
Saturday, December 16th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is the only Saturday practice scheduled. It is very important for all children in Pre-School through 5th Grade who will be participating in the program to be at this rehearsal.  Please make every effort to have your child at church on time for the rehearsal and to pick up your child at the time rehearsal will be over.

Rehearsal times are:

Grades 1-5: 3:00 p.m. Program—Practice from 8:30-10:00 a.m.

Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, & Kindergarten: Both 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Programs—Practice from 10:00-10:30 a.m.

Grades 1-5: 5:00 p.m. Program—Practice from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

CHRISTMAS VACATION
Christmas vacation for students in Grades K-5 begins with the dismissal of class at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, December 22nd. Classes resume again on Tuesday, January 9th at the regular time. The last class before Christmas for the Pre-School students is Thursday, December 21st and class will resume again on Tuesday, January 9th at regular times. The last class before Christmas for the Pre-Kindergarten students is Wednesday, December 20th and class will resume again on Wednesday, January 10th at regular times.

NEW YEAR’S FAMILY CELEBRATION
St. Paul’s PTL is hosting a “New Year’s Family Celebration” on Friday, December 29th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Come enjoy an obstacle course, bounce house, free food, a photo booth, and fun for everyone. Butterfly kisses will be here for face painting. This free family event is a great way to get out of the house and get wiggles out over the Christmas break!

SUNMART RECEIPTS
SunMart cash register receipts update: our current total is $17,713.68. You can also collect Box Tops, Best Choice UPC labels (from Heartland Foods), Tyson Project A+ labels, and Our Family labels (UPC portion). We can turn in all of these labels to receive money for our school.
