PRAYER FAMILIES
In our prayers this week, we remember the following school families: Andrew & Nicole Landon, Travis & Toree Lang, Matthew & Ashley Langley, and Jessica Leseberg and Troy Stevens.

CHAPEL OFFERINGS FOR NOVEMBER & DECEMBER- WARREN’S TABLE
In November and December, we will be collecting money for Warren’s Table. This outreach project at Christ Episcopal Church in Beatrice provides a free meal to the public each Tuesday evening. After we raise funds, we plan to prepare and serve a meal with our older students, and donate any extra funds raised. Our meal is scheduled for Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018, so mark your calendars!  The current total is $162.39.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
The teachers and staff of St. Paul’s Lutheran School wish each of you a Merry Christmas and blessed New Year in the Lord. Enjoy your Christmas break with your children as you celebrate the Savior’s birth.

ADVENT
We encourage you to prepare for Christmas by attending the midweek Advent Services, the last service is this Wednesday, December 20th beginning at 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Plan now to worship and invite a friend or relative to join you. A supper will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. before the evening service. A free will offering will be taken for the meals.

LUNCH & TUITION BILLS
December tuition and November lunch are now due. Thank you to all who have already paid. If you have not yet made your payment this month, please do so this week!

JANUARY CALENDAR
The January Calendar is being sent home today. Please keep it for your reference during the month of January.  Remember, the lunch menu is on the reverse side.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING
On Tuesday, December 19th, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade classes will walk to Homestead House to share the joy of the season with handbells and caroling. We will leave the school at 2:30 p.m. and return by the end of the day.

3RD GRADE CHAPEL
The 3rd Grade class will present their Class Chapel this Wednesday, December 20th at 8:30 a.m. Parents are invited to worship with us at this special Chapel, as well as any Wednesday.

CHRISTMAS CHOIRS
This week we will enjoy our final choir visit from the high school. First Edition will visit us on Wednesday, December 20th from 10:15-10:45 a.m.

CHRISTMAS TREE
The 5th grade room is in need of a new Christmas tree. If you are getting a new tree this year, would you consider donating your gently used tree?

CHRISTMAS VACATION
Christmas vacation for students in Grades K-5 begins with the dismissal of class at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, December 22nd. Classes resume again on Tuesday, January 9th at the regular time. The last class before Christmas for the Pre-School students is Thursday, December 21st and class will resume again on Tuesday, January 9th at regular times. The last class before Christmas for the Pre-Kindergarten students is Wednesday, December 20th and class will resume again on Wednesday, January 10th at regular times.

NEW YEAR’S FAMILY CELEBRATION
St. Paul’s PTL is hosting a “New Year’s Family Celebration” on Friday, December 29th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Come enjoy an obstacle course, bounce house, free food, a photo booth, and fun for everyone. Butterfly kisses will be here for face painting. This free family event is a great way to get out of the house and get wiggles out over the Christmas break!

SUNMART RECEIPTS
SunMart cash register receipts update: our current total is $19,303.95. You can also collect Box Tops, Best Choice UPC labels (from Heartland Foods), Tyson Project A+ labels, and Our Family labels (UPC portion). We can turn in all of these labels to receive money for our school.
