I was raised on a farm outside of Bremen, Kansas by my parents, Douglas and Karen Rengstorf. I attended Bremen Lutheran School, Marysville High School, and Concordia University in Seward. In 2001 I completed my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Concentration and accepted my first call as the Preschool director at St. Paul’s in Haven, Kansas. I taught there for 4 years, then moved to Linn Lutheran School to teach 1st and 2nd grades. I was at Linn Lutheran for 8 years, three in 1st and 2nd grades and five as the Preschool director. In August of 2012 I completed my Master’s degree in Administration at Concordia University. I have been the principal at St. Paul’s since 2013. For 6 years I was the principal and taught the afternoon 5th grade classes.  Beginning with the 2020-2021 school year I began serving as the principal and K – 5 Music teacher here at St. Paul’s.

I married my husband Mike in June of 2002, and we have two children, Andrew and Olivia. My husband farms near Herkimer, Kansas. Our family is excited to be a part of your church and school community.
