PRAYER FAMILIES In our prayers this week, we remember the following school families: Stephanie & Andrew Moss, Don & Stacy Church, Trevor & Erin Chadwick, and Suzanne Perry.

CHAPEL OFFERINGS Our offerings for April and May will go to the Community Food Pantry. You may send in canned foods, or money. Pantry Items Needed: Sugar, 2 lb. Flour, Chicken Noodle Soup, 5 oz. cans Ham & Turkey, Mixed Vegetables, Carrots, Ketchup, Mustard, Peanut Butter, and Jelly. We have challenged the students to bring in 100 food items. If they meet the goal, they will get rewarded with an extra recess and a snack. Our current total is $208.32 and 41 food items.

INTENT TO RETURN The tuition & fee schedule for next year and Intent to Return form were sent home last week. Please complete and return the form and Enrollment Fee as soon as possible. REMINDER: The fee increases after May 1st.

MAY CALENDAR The May calendar and lunch menus for St. Paul’s is coming home today. Please keep it for future reference.

PLANTING DAY Saturday, May 7th is our next Outdoor Classroom Workday, beginning at 9 am. We will be planting the butterfly gardens. Lunch will be provided by a Thrivent Community Action Grant.

ROTARY FIELD DAY The Rotary Field Day for Grades 3-5 will be held Thursday, April 28th. Grade 3 will be in the morning from 9:15-11:15. Grades 4 and 5 will start at 12:00 Noon.

4TH GRADE FIELD TRIP The 4th Graders will be traveling to Prairie School this Friday, April 29th.

5TH GRADE BAND The 5th Grade Band students from St. Paul’s will perform in the Grades 5-8 Spring Band Concert next week, Thursday, May 5th at 7:00 PM in the Hevelone Center. All are invited and welcome to come and enjoy the concert.

ST. PAUL’S FIELD DAY The St. Paul’s Field Day will be held on Friday, May 6th for Grades K-5. We will begin at 10:00 AM. We will take a break for lunch at approximately 12:00 Noon. No hot lunches will be ordered that day so all students in Grades K-5 will have to bring a sack lunch or purchase lunch from the PTL concession stand. We hope to end the Field Day by 2:30 PM. Any parents willing to help run events, please contact the school office.

TRACK MEET CONCESSIONS The Track Meet Concession Committee is sending an updated form home today. Please sign up to help wherever and whenever you can and return the form to school ASAP. The form also contains information about punch cards for students who wish to eat at the concession stand that day.

EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM The Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten Program will be presented this Friday, April 29th at 7:00 PM. They are working hard to prepare an enjoyable evening for you. Pre-Schoolers should report to their classroom by 6:45 PM. Pre-Kindergarten students should sit with their parents in the gym.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL St. Paul’s Vacation Bible School will be held July 11th-15th. More information will be coming soon. Amy Loomis will be the director.

2016-2017 APPLICATIONS We are in the process of accepting applications for new students in Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten through Grade 5 for the next school year (2016-2017). If you know of anyone interested in enrolling in St. Paul’s School, please give their name to the school office or ask them to contact the school.

TEACHER AIDE POSITION St. Paul’s is seeking a teacher aide to begin working in Pre-Kindergarten this fall. Duties would include helping students with learning activities in small groups, assisting the classroom teacher with preparation of classroom materials, and supervision of students at recess and indoor play. This is a part-time, paid position. Please contact the school office if interested.

SUNMART RECEIPTS SunMart cash register receipts update: Our total is $127,473.59. Thanks to everyone who helps us collect these receipts, every receipt helps.

TYSON A+ LABELS We are collecting Tyson Project A+ labels for our school. They are found on Tyson chicken products, and each label is 24 cents for our school. Please collect and send to the school office.
