CHAPEL OFFERINGS FOR APRIL
Our offerings for April and May will go to the Community Food Pantry. We are collecting food items and money. We are trying to collect cereal boxes for the food pantry, but you may bring in any canned or boxed items. Our current total is $87.23 and 27 boxes of food.
INTENT TO RETURN
A new Intent to Return form is being sent home today with the families we have not heard from. Please complete and return the form and enrollment fee as soon as possible. REMINDER: The fee increases after May 1st.
The May calendar and lunch menu are coming home today. Please keep them for future reference.
UPCOMING FIELD TRIPS
Tuesday, April 25th: The 5th Grade class will go to Earth Fest at Camp Luther near Fairbury.
Friday, April 28th: The 4th Grade class will travel to Prairie School.
Tuesday, May 2nd: The 5th Grade class will travel to the SAC Museum.
OUTDOOR WORK DAYS
Outdoor Classroom work has been scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, April 25th and 26th, from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. Supper will be provided for all helpers and their families. Please plan to come out and help! Bring rakes, shovels, garden tools, and a willing spirit!
ROTARY FIELD DAY
The Rotary Field Day for Grades 3-5 will be held Thursday, April 27th. Grade 3 will be in the morning from 9:15-11:15 a.m. Grades 4 and 5 will start at 12:00 noon.
5th GRADE BAND
The 5th Grade band students from St. Paul’s will perform in the Grades 5-8 Spring Band Concert next week, Thursday, May 4th at 7:00 p.m. in the Hevelone Center. All are invited and welcome to come and enjoy the concert.
ST. PAUL’S FIELD DAY
The St. Paul’s Field Day will be held on Friday, May 5th for Grades K-5. We will begin at 10:00 a.m. We will take a break for lunch approximately 12:00 noon. No hot lunches will be ordered that day so all students in Grades K-5 will have to bring a sack lunch or purchase lunch from the PTL concession stand. We hope to end the Field Day by 2:30 p.m. We will need more parents to help this year. Any parents willing to help run events, please contact the school office.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
St. Paul’s Vacation Bible School will be held July 17th-21st. More information will be coming soon. Amy Loomis will be the director.
We are in the process of accepting applications for new students in Pre-School, Pre- Kindergarten, and Kindergarten through Grade 5 for the next school year (2017-2018). If you know of anyone interested in enrolling in St. Paul’s School, please give their name to the school office or ask them to contact the school.
SunMart cash register receipts update: Our total is $95,418.40. Thanks to everyone who helps us collect these receipts, every receipt helps.
