PRAYER FAMILIES
In our prayers this week, we remember the following school families: Alex & Natasha Madison, John & Sarah Martin, Teresa Martin & Russ Mann, and Andy & Jana Maschmann.

CHAPEL OFFERINGS FOR NOVEMBER & DECEMBER
The offerings for the month of January will go to Lutheran Hour Ministries- Madagascar Missions. Our current total is $12.49.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS
St. Paul’s will be having a church service in the school gym at 10:30 AM on Sunday, February 26th. The students will sing at this service.

LUNCH & TUITION BILLS
January tuition and December lunch were sent home last week with the students. If you ever have a question about your bill, please let us know.

END OF 2ND QUARTER
Wednesday, December 21st marked the end of the 2nd quarter. Progress Reports are being sent home with the students in KDG-Grade 5 today. If you would like to discuss your child’s progress with his or her teacher, please feel free to contact the teacher to set up an appointment.

VOTER’S ASSEMBLY
St. Paul’s Voters’ Assembly will meet on Sunday, January 15th at 1:30 PM in the church basement. If you are a member of St. Paul’s Church, consider joining the voters. If you are already a voter, please plan to attend.

NO SCHOOL
There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 16th for all students in Pre-Kindergarten- Grade 5. This is an In-Service/Workday for the teachers.

B.E.A.R. FAIR
B.E.A.R. (Be Excited About Reading) Fair begins on Tuesday, January 17th. This year we will again be conducting a magazine subscription fundraiser and a cookie dough sale to raise money for items in the library of our school. A B.E.A.R. Fair representative will be here at school to kick off our Fair. More information will be coming soon! Thank you in advance for your support! We are looking forward to your participation.

SINGING IN CHURCH
The students in Grades K-5 will sing at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Sunday, January 22nd at the 10:30 AM Worship Service.

1ST GRADE CLASS CHAPEL
The 1st grade class will present their class Chapel on Wednesday, January 25th at 8:30 AM. Parents are welcome to worship with us on that day as well as any Wednesday morning.

NEEDED FOR VALENTINE’S DAY
The Kindergarten class needs large oatmeal boxes for Valentine’s Day. If you have any empty ones, please send them to school.

2017-2018 APPLICATIONS
We are in the process of accepting applications for new students in Pre-School, Pre- Kindergarten, and Kindergarten through Grade 5 for the next school year (2017-2018). If you know of anyone interested in enrolling in St. Paul’s School, please give their name to the school office or ask them to contact the school.

SECRETARY POSITION
St. Paul’s Lutheran School is still seeking a new secretary. Necessary skills for the position include: knowledge of computer programs for word-processing and record-keeping, strong organizational skills, and the ability to use office equipment including copiers and fax machines. This is a part-time, paid position. For more information or to apply, please contact Mrs. Duever at 402-223-3414 or drop by the school office in the mornings. Deadline to apply is January 15th, 2017.

SUNMART RECEIPTS
SunMart cash register receipts update: Our total is $49,474.57. Thanks to everyone who helps us collect these receipts, every receipt helps.
